  1. push graph botton

  2. Press the blue y= button left hand side under the screen.  After prressing that, i think you'll figure it out!

  3. I have a TI-84 although i recently had a TI-83 and they are pretty much the same.

To graph any equation simply hit the y= button located just beneath the screen on the left hand side of the calculator.

You should see a list like this:

    \Y1=

    \Y2=

    \Y3=

Enter the mx + b part of your equation next to any one of these, although it is logical to start at \Y1=

All you need to do now is press the "Graph" button which again is beneath the screen, on the right hand side of the calculator.

This is done now except you may need to adjust the window, to do this click the "Window" button beneath the screen, as most equations can lead on to infinity, you only want to see a small part of the graph, normally near the x and y axis right? Well the screen isnt big enough isn'tee all of the graph so you can move the screen to the part of the graph you want to see by changing the values in the window menu.

Remember to use the (-) button below and left to the "Enter" button, when inputting negative numbers in the window menu.
