Im using windows vista, my prt sn button WONT WORK.?

Question

ive tried alt prt sn and ive tried ctrl prt sn. none of these are working when i got to paste it in paint or word pad, i just get the last link I copied. im using a HP DV9000 laptop. any suggestions on what could be wrong?

i don't know why is n't workingh but u can try the snipping tool that has been designed for windows vista .You can access it in Start->Al Programs->Accessories.

With this software yoy can get the copy of your screen and save it in location of ur choice

Aren't you just supposed to just press print screen button. Then open paint or something. If it's still not working try out the snipping tool microsoft provide it's like print screen but you can crop the image if you wish.

Try the function button. Instead of using ctrl, use fn and the prt sc button.
