Im very confused...girls help??

i have been a tomboy for the last few years. now im kinda getting more girlyish and want to wear a skirts. i dont kno how to bring it up in a convo with my mom...lame i kno but its complicated. plz help me??

So don't be scared? :)

Just go shopping or look in a magazine or tv whatever & be like, wow, i like that skirt/dress whatever.

And then see her expression.

Well, if you're still in school, when you go shopping, pick out a skirt and try it on, and say "hey, mom, I like this". If you're out of school, then just go and buy a skirt or two on your own.

If you go shopping with your mum then point out girly things you like then you wont technically have to tell her it will be written all over your face.

Are you still in school? You could just say that loads of the other girls are wearing them so you thought you might try one.

Are there any magazines about your house?  If so- make notes with a magic marker by the skirts/dresses you think are cute. Leave it open where your mom is sure to see it.

If this doesn't work- just tell her.  I think she would LOVE to help you pick out some feminine clothes.

Like go shopping with her, then just suggest certain things that you like and if she questions it just say "I feel like a change". But if you don't want to go shopping just get some fashion magazines and leave them open on pages of thing that you like, or fold the edges of pages you like, or circle things you like.
