Im volunteer, im companion of a older woman, whay can i do?

Im volunteer on an institution in israel, this is the first time Im doing this kind of thing, I want to have a good result of this, but I dont what to do, I have a ancient woman a little bit religious, and I dont how to give her a entertaiment time, what do you sugest?

There are many things you can do, and yes, ask her to tell you about her life.  You can read newspapers to her, ask her if she wants you to read the Bible or whatever religious book she follows to her.

You can also take her on short nature walks , even if she is wheel-chair bound.

Many nursing homes close to you have adult day-care activities that you can probably include her in for free. Or if you have any senior citizen centers, there, that is another place you can take her for activities.

Listen..Listen......Listen first she has lot of stories, experiences,emotions and feelings to share.You try to ask question to seek knowledge,maturity and wisdom.It solace her and make her happy and you will gain lot wisdom.Then read some stories books, religious books,Prayer audio cassettes, Radio, collect some old women so that share their emotion.write letters for the send email to their children read email for them
