Im want to get a ferret but cant convice my parents to let me have one because they are worried about the smel

that's how my parents are they dont want me to get any pets especially a ferret. get a guinea pig or goldfish instead

Get a chinchilla instead. they don't stink and are similar.

if ur parents won't let you get a ferret then get a gerbil. they're fun, easy to take care of, and r cheap

im in the exact same situation. Except my mum's not worried about smell she doesn't want me to get one.

What i've been doing is i have saved up lots of money and i already have a cage, i have also been researching about them lots and i've been helping out more around the house.

As for their smell if they're descented the smell is minimal. Most ferrets are descented when purchased at a pet store, online, or from a breeder.

You can't make their droppings smell less, but to keep it minimal just make sure you clean their litterbox everyday, and their cage once a week as a minimal.
