Im wanting to work but how!

ive got an 11 month old son who i stay at home with, my husband works full time monday - friday and saturday nights as a dj. i really could do with a part time job but dont know how to go about it!

if i put my son in childcare we would need the fees upfront which we just dont have!!

What about being a childminder?

You can do that in your own home, but i no what you mean my partner works full time and my little girl is 8 months. If you find a childminder you will pay upfront but you get it back from WFTC so its worth doing. I'm going back to work in a few weeks and cant wait!

check entitledto it will let you no if you qualify for WTC if you go to work to

what about taking kids in to care for? That way you earn money and you are home with your son

Why use daycare?  Why not work when your husband is home, so that he can stay with his son?  

My husband & I both work fulltime jobs (with an extra weekend job delivering inflatables to parties).  We work opposite shifts - him overnights, me during the day.  The kids are with whichever parent is home at the time.  I think it's great for the kids to see that dads are just as capable as moms.  It's good for them to know they can count on & trust both of us.
