Im writing a book.........?

okay. im writing a book about mermaids. this is the exsept:

three girls, out in the moon light, in thw water: mermaid.

sam zoey and cleo where in thw water in the middle of the full moon. the next day they discovered they where mermaids.

here are their personalitys:

sam: sporty and out spoken

zoey: girly but not too much and shy

cleo: girly and an animal lover; very outspoken

plz help with:

*colors of the tails(plz ocean colors)

*powers or no? (if yes, what type?)

Why don't you have them all with different powers....but then they run into SIRENS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siren) that lure them into their domain.  

Once there the sirens use a hypnotizing spell on them and make 2 of them their slaves.  And its up to 1 mermaid to save them.  

Make the story take place in some sort of "Water World".  I love greek mythology (but more I love Norse mythology).

If you are serious about writing a book, educate yourself on all the theories of mermaids, take a trip to an aquarium or ocean, clear your mind, and see where it takes you. If i ever got the chance to become a mermaid, I would prolly take it.

Because this isn't a rip-off of the show H20.I encourage writing in all forms and genres, but I don't encourage the copying of someone else's work.

H20 first aired in 2006, two years ago in Australia,so it doesn't matter if you thought of the idea last July,it has still been on for two years.Also, you have the same plot, same circumstances, even one character's name is the same.It is a rip-off.
