Im following this resume , it tells you what to put as a beginner.

http://actinginfo.blogspot.com/2007/09/beginners-acting-resume.html [are the things listed to put on your resume there good?]

Im submitting for a Role posted on that website, and i was wondering if besides what it says there; should i put these too?

Objective:

Qualifications:

What would I put? Why I want the job and why do i qualify?

thank you in advance

  1. your objectives would be what you want out of this. what results you want out of what you're planning to do.

for your qualifications you'd list roles you've played in the past, workshops you've done, companies you've been a part of, high school theatre...etc. have you directed anything? put it down. any dance/voice training? put it down.

  2. "objectives" and "qualifications" are not categories in a standard acting resume. The categories are: Experience (subdivided into Theatre, FIlm/tv and commercials and possibly also industrials and print), training and special skills. That's it. At the top is your name, contact info and physical characterists (height, weight, union status, hair/eye color, vocal classification)
