  1. You should avoid contact with soil in pregnancy so I would say no, don't do it.

  2. I would try to get out of the digging part of your job, if possible.  Check with your doctor first before attempting to do that, for the sake of the baby.

  3. I personally wouldn't risk it. But talk to your doc and see what he thinks.

  4. you should so call your doctor.

  5. I guess it depends on what type of digging you will be participating in.

Is this with large shovels and heavy manual labor? If so, that's probably not a great idea.

If you're doing basic gardening with small tools, you might be okay.  OB's often recommend that you avoid digging around in gardens though because of the risk you have of being exposed to cat f***s.

  6. I don't reccomend it.

  7. That's something you need to talk to your dr about. Only he knows your body and baby. It would depend on the digging too. I moved furniture while pregnant it was my job. And my doc was fine with it as long as it wasn't over 50 pounds and by myself. I mean he put a stop to it at about 25 weeks. I would talk to the dr.

  8. no not at all

  9. Is it something that you've done consistently through your pregnancy? If not then I would stay away from it.

  10. talk to the dr. at your next appt

  11. Is that the type of physical work that you normally do? If so then it should be safe-unless of course your doctor has told you something different due to complications.

  12. I'd get a doctor to write a note an excuse you from it. I wouldn't risk the lifting / bending involved in digging.

Talk to your obgyn, and see what he / she thinks.
