Image thumbnails will not appear?

For some reason, the image files in my pictures album refuse to show up as thumbnails. I've tried reclicking on the option to view as thumbnails but it doesn't work. I also cannot view them as a slide show. They are all jpeg images but now appear as paint shop pro images instead. (I do use paint shop pro 7 but I save everything as jpeg). How do I make the thumbnails show up?

this happened to me too.

you can't exactly stop it.

i updated my flash payer and it worked again.
