Image uploads in wordpress.org

Question

Hya, can anyone explain how I can upload an image into my Wordpress.org blog and add that image to a post, since moving from wordpress.com II have no idea.

First, upgrade to WP 2.6. the last version had problems with uploading images.

Next, in the editor, there's a series of little icons on top of the box. Click the one that looks like a photo. A pop up comes up for uploading an image. If you've already FTP'd the image to your /image directory, click on gallery. otherwise click on Choose files and browse to where you have them.

After that, it's just following the instructions on the screen.
