Images in wordpress.org?

1. How do you upload images in wordpress.org and use them in posts?

2. Are these images stored on your domains servers, what folder are the located?

1. At the top of the textbox where you enter your post, just above the HTML and View tabs, you will see four symbols; one is a symbol of a picture. Click on that and it will let you upload your photo, caption it, and insert it into your post.

2. The images are stored in the wp-uploads folder of your Web site by default. By default, images are stored in year and day subdirectories. Therefore, if you upload a picture named me.jpg today, it would be located by default in wp-uploads/ 2008/ 08/ me.jpg
