A good name for a princess from the sixteenth century?

Her fourteen year old sister; Amaena Bree Jamesell Lewell?

And for her eleven year old sister: Carlena Iyale Jamesell Omana?

Nicknames: Immy, Maena, Lena?

This is for a fantasy story I am writing.

  1. Lol, when I saw the title of your question I thought 'NOT another person asking whether we like this unique name for a girl'! :)  For a story, those names are good! BUT, is this an alternate universe? Or is it Britain or something? Because in the real world, a 16th century princess wouldn't have been named that. As for nicknames, I think Immie would be better, because it's more 16th centurish. It's like Annie/Anny, the -y is more modern. But those names are cool!

Hope this helps and good luck with the story! :)

  2. I think its cute.

  3. I think the first two names should be switched in the first character:  Emelea Iminia instead of Iminia Emelea.

I like the second name and nickname.

I think the second part of the third name is a little hard to figure out how to say.  Iyale?  I'm not sure about that one.

  4. With a quick google search (not sure where your story is taking place) I got some info on english names.
