Immersion blenders?

I'm buying an immersion blender for my dad for his birthday--he's always been the chef in our family. He has pretty big hands and our kitchen is already pretty full of gadgets. What are the choices and what is the best one? Easy to use is a good thing here!

I got a BRAUN when my daughter was a baby and it was on its last legs when she got me a replacement Braun. She was 21 so it lasted 20+ years. I've had the new one for 3+ years now and I use it more than once a day usually.
