I was born in MEXICO but my family brought me here when i was 4yrs old grew up in CALIFORNIA, never even understood the term "illegal" until i turned 16 and try to get my 1st job. At 18 life didn't get n-e easier, I couldn't go to college because I couldn't work to pay for it and didn't qualify for a student loan, couldn't drive a car, because I wasn't abel to get a driver license, at 21 i wasn't able to

get in 2 some nightclubs because I didn't have a State ID, and now that I'm married to a US CITIZEN I cant get my situation taken care of because the options are very limited and there is no guaranty I will be approve. To make matters worse now at 23 I cant even buy over the counter sudafe because CV'S needs to scan my ID and i don't have a state ID. I understand why allot of you are upset about illegal immigrants, but I had no saying in my situation, and now I've lived my life here, and DON'T WANT TO GO BACK, I WOULD HAVE NOTHING NO 1,,,

...and I'm so hurt and scared Ill be taken away from my family and child.

do you ever consider not all illegal immigrants are illegal by choice?

  1. I am sorry that you dont want to go back, but if you want to become legal then you have NO CHOICE. Your american citizen spouse has to petition you.

when you were 16 you SHOULD have applied for a green card immediately. I beleive you can do that as long as you are under 18.

  2. hey i was also brougth to this county when i was 4 years old..

i am 17 now i am goin to graduate high school in chicago ill.

i was born in mexico ..puebla..i know it suck's we cant have **** in here

i feel you....just marrie some one with papers...

and try to get your mexican id is called matricula consular just google it or something..

i have lots of friends here in chicago with no papers and are goin to college...so yea..

    ;(

  3. look up info at www.immigrate2us.net theres many people in similar situations there that post info that can help you. Its not completly if you have lived as an upstanding citizen. You need to have faith in the system.

  4. Well for one the poor grammer on here doesn't help your case.

And yes it is sad that your parents did that to you, but because you are married you should be just fine. If you apply for citizenship you will most likely get it, and they won't deport you. It is unfair for you to have to go through this invoulentairly but I really do not have much sympathy. If I tried to move to mexico illegally, it would be likely that I would be put in jail. Laws are laws and are put into place for a reason. You just can't get around it. That sucks that that happened to you, but I have no real sympathy.

  5. While I understand you didn't have the choice as a child, that was not the case when you reached adulthood. You chose to stay here illegally instead of doing the right thing and returning to your home country. You will now likely get deported and banned from this country. How do you think legal immigrants feel when they work hard, sacrifice and wait to come to this country the right way? Because of people like you,the process for them is taking much longer and that's not fair. How do you think Americans feel when they can't get a job and feed their children because people like you are taking the jobs they've held all their lives? Quit being so selfish. We Americans didn't bring nor invite you here, your selfish, criminal parents did and we should not have to suffer because of it.

  6. Of course, you're not undocumented by choice- it's not as if you're here illegally and sticking your tongue out at everyone who complains about the issue of illegal immigration. Just stay out of trouble- don't do anything that you could get arrested for, and you should be fine. Also, go with your husband or wife (you didn't say anything that specifies if you are a man or a woman, sorry) to talk to an immigration lawyer about your situation. By the way, ignore all the arrogant, ignorant, or just plain evil responses that you may get or have already gotten.

  7. I'm sorry but you became illegal by choice when you turned 18 or actually 18 and a half according to the law.  If you parents are doing something illegal and you are a minor, you can't be blamed but as soon as you reach the age of majority and you choose to do the same thing, you become responsible.

You can also blame the employers who gave your parents jobs and all the people who knew about them being illegal for the last 19 years and didn't report them.  All of those people have allowed you to grow up in a country where you have no legal status.

Hopefully you and your spouse can talk to an immigration lawyer and apply for you to get legal but really, not reporting illegals is not doing them or their kids any favours in the long run.

  8. You will find the life you seek at home in mexico. Don't be scared, its not like you cant get an ID in mexico. I'm sure they have the sudafed you require. I'm sorry but it is not going to get better for you. You are paying for your parents mistakes and until you go home and apply for citizenship it will never change. You should be happy because you got a free education out of it. I know that California has programs for illegals to go to college and in San Francisco you can live a practically free life through their sanctuary city policy's. You could even sell crack and they wouldnt deport you. So I say SF or Mexico is in your future, personally I would pick MX because SF so full of liberals you would want to put a bullet in your head..

  9. You were brought here by choice.  Your parents' decision.  You do need to go back to your own country.  At this point, being over 18 1/2 years old, you will face a ban.  Only thing I can think of is to take your family and relocate to Mexico for the next ten years.  Your life will be this way if you remain in this country illegally.  No American Dream until you make yourself legal.  It is a doable thing for you.

    Best of luck.

  10. I don consider u an immigrant because u lived here for so long. seems like it is hard for u. just keep trying don't be sad I'm not an immigrant because i was born here. my parents are puertorican and ecuadorian.my grand parents are immmigrants. ur not an immigrant in my eyes.

  11. My suggestion is trying to obsord as much information as you can before making up your mind, here is a good one.http://car-loan.free-deal.info/free-car-...

  12. You are not an immigrant, immigrants apply legally, you have been an illegal invader since you were four. blame your law-breaking family for that. There is no pity for you, When you turned 18, did you even try to apply legally, no. So you have been an illegal invader for 5 more years since you have turned of age. You should have thought about your situation before bringing a child into the world and marrying a citizen. So you are illegal by choice. The only thing you can do is go back to where you belong and apply the right way, sooner or later you will get caught illegally and deported with a possible 10 year ban. My answer is not ignorant, but the truth. And it is how most Americans feel about invaders like you!

  13. You say you have realized what it means to be an illegal alien since you were 16 years old. When you turned 18, you became responsible for yourself.

What have you done to try to correct your situation?

Your parents are to blame for bringing you here illegally and sending you into adulthood as an illegal criminal alien, and YOU are to blame for not doing anything about it after you became an adult. Whining about it won't change your immigration status.
