I don't get the logic of the US anymore. I live in Texas so yeah it's Mexico down here.

I personally wouldn't mind learning Spanish IF it were a give and take.

I hate looking for jobs and see Bilingual. I was looking for medical receptionist jobs and nearly all say bilingual. That pissed me off.

I would SO learn Spanish if immigrants would learn English. About a year ago when they had those walkouts, and protests in the streets and stuff on the news I would watch the 5pm news and hear interviews of people....immgrants in my city having to speak with a translater. THEN the bottom of the screen saying they had been here for OVER 10 years. What they can't learn English in 10 years?

I saw this one guy say he'd been in my city for 18 years. I was 18 at the time and I was like "what the h**l" he's been here since the late 80s, through the 90s, mainstream success of the computer 00s and he STILL doesn't speak English.

I mean damm, 10 years you SHOULD be speaking English w/ a accent

  1. You know, oh great one, I think you should care about yourself and not about what other people do or not do

If they don't learn english, how is that your business ?

But if you refuse to learn Spanish to get a job, THAT is your business
