  1. Fine with me and why were we feeding them anyway. Surely they should have been sent straight back where to they came.

  2. Let them kill themselves and then ask them "YOUR LAST WISHES ?!"  and then hope they wouldn't say "LOBSTER,... PRECEDED BY RUMP STEAK, PLEASE", lol  lol

  3. You would do the same in their situation.Stop being so high and mighty.

Since they are Kurds from Iraq perhaps a creative exchange should take place. The British troops from Iraq come to the UK and the Kurds go back to Iraq (Kurdistan to be exact)

  4. Hello Mrs S they are illegal immigrants and lawbreakers and we can't keep everyone here! They will start a seperate state in time!

  5. They shouldnt be here in the first place.

They should all go back or the British will end up being the starving.

We dont need a lecture.we are probably much more aware of global affairs than you are.

However, very few immigrants that have ever crossed our shores have ever brought any positives into our country.

Our Sceptred Isle is on its knees thanks to the blinkeredness and idiocy of the EU and New Labour who gave our country away to stay in power a little longer.

If these immigrants are unhappy with the state of their own countries then they must fight to make it better.Just like we did!

I would think that our forefathers who defended our country from what was actually a much better class of invader, would turn in their graves if they knew we have virtually handed it over to the globes untermenschen, most of who despise our existance.

  6. Let them starve. The didn't have to come here.

  7. Who cares, it,s there decision. We can only hope that those in charge do not give in to the demands of strikers

  8. somebody don't want to eat? F'em

  9. My faithful wife Betty always makes sure I'm not hungry...!

  10. Why are we allowing these people to hold us up to ransom like this.

We don't owe them jack sh*t.

Asylum Seekers have to claim asylum in the first "safe" country they reach after fleeing their own.  A simple study of global geography will tell you that if you are escaping from Iraq, the UK is not the first "safe" country they will reach.  These people will have passed through several perfectly "safe" countries to come to the UK, probably because they know what complete pushovers our Government are.

Whilst we have British families homeless and stuck in B&BS by uncaring councils and our pensioners are freezing to death because they can't live on their measly state pensions (after working and paying tax all their lives), these "asylum" seekers get given free healthcare, council houses, benefits, loans, grants and all sorts of things which our own people in need can't get.

I work with Benefit claimants and the number of former asylum seekers who claim benefits and don't speak any English is truly alarming.

And when we try to question their legitimacy as genuine asylum seekers and don't immediately allow them to enter freely into our country, they start holding us to ransom by going on hunger strike?

Let them starve.  I'm sick of being taken for a mug by these people.

  11. send them home on easy jet and save the tax payers money on the meal to.

  12. My honest reaction? ... Who cares?

  13. if they like to go hungry, they could have stayed in mexico.

  14. I wonder how many of your answerers have any idea of the history of the Kurdish people. Of how they 'escaped' from the horrors of Saddam's purges in the eighties, then the first gulf war, and went to Turkey, to be interned, tortured, and even killed, simply for trying to seek asylum from horrors in Iraq.

If the British government wants to adopt a hardline stance they need to close borders. it is cruel and unjust to allow someone a taste of freedom (even in a detention centre), then deport them back to a harsh regime. In the last few months the Turks have been striking into Iraqi territory to further persecute Kurds, whilst the west has done little to help.

If some one were looking you personally in the eye telling you it "is better to die than to be sent back", would all those brutal and ignorant people who have answered your question thus far still want to fly the plane that took them back to torture and death?

In this sad world full of rascists and greed, the answer from some of them would be "yes". I'd like to do some place swapping, and send some of them out to the mountains of northern Iraq to suffer. Until you have walked a mile in a man's shoes, do not judge him.

I feel very sorry for them, as they are imprisoned with little chance of hope for their future, probably still worrying about family back home.

    Take care.

    In addition...

As for the monkey who thinks he knows more about world affairs... yeah right.

Just exactly when did you fight for any freedom- when was the last time your population were gassed in their ancient homeland, when did you cross a border fleeing persecution to be met with more hatred?

You narrow minded fool... you deserve your eternity in h**l, and I won't be sorry to see you go!

I do forgive you though, for you clearly know not what you do. Tell me what the crime is of the Kurdish people, and I will then try to understand you.

  15. Let them eat cake.

  16. why should we look after them send them back , this is the only country were you can just turn up and ask for free money

  17. i will take the food they are refusing to eat, it will, save you cooking for me

  18. I  don't  believe  anything  i  read  in   the  newspapers,  radio  or   T.V.

Most of  them are  now  moving  their c**p online.  Yahoo  news  is  worse  than  the  SUN.  Anyway, i  thought  the  Iraqi  curds  were  supposed  to  be  the  UK and  US's  allies  in  the  middle  east.  Most  of  the  answers  on  here  are  brainless.  I  wouldn't  go  to  war for the  RACISTS  on  here!

  19. From the article i take it that these "detainees" have been detained because they have come to our country as refugees and then abused us by breaking our laws.

    I have no sympathy.

  20. Saves us some money

  21. let them go on strike, they are just a bunch of liars  seeking asylum

  22. just leave them to it, they will eventually

    eat each other.

  23. Let them get on with it - or better still send them home!

  24. on hunger strike let them starve , wait until winter when we have to pay inflated prices for GAS, ELECTRIC, FOOD, etc. many of our own citizens will starve and freeze because they wont be able to live on the measly pension.
