I really want to move to Scotland and live and work there permanatly. Getting a work or student visa is not possible. How do you go about immigrating there? I have no idea about any of this? Is it legal, and how to I even start the process?

  1. i live in canada and want to move to scotland after highschool. but i can becuase i was born there and im a scottish citizen, but

before you move their, you need to get the british immigration papers fill them out, and wait for a response

    GOOD LUCK

  2. You should be able to find out from the UK border agency:

    http://ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/

I can't say any more without knowing more about your situation.

Scotland is trying to encourage immigration at the moment because of an ageing population so I don't think they are likely to be refusing people entry.

I can't say I've tried to immigrate to the UK but I have heard that it can be quite a hassle.

  3. Where do you come from first of all?  That might help people when they try to advise you what to do.

  4. You need a visa to immigrate there or a European passport.
