Got quite the problem and have asked this many times, but wondering if anything has changed in immigration policy. You see I understand the skilled part. I will be getting my BA in business manag. and im wondering if there is a way out of US to canada if i apply to CA jobs. Or do they have to contact you. I cant seem to get in any other way. All i want to do is move to Regina, SK or Winnipeg but i cant seem to meet any requirements. So i figured once i get my BA if i applied to a CA job and they took me up on it shouldnt i be in? Tell me ways i can get in if that doesnt work

  1. There are provincial nominee programs now.  Check out http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/p... for SK and MB most wanted job skills or other ways of immigrating there.

If you need a job offer, it's not a bad idea to use your vacation to look for jobs, then leave again to pack up while they issue your work permit.

If you don't qualify for any jobs in SK or MB, look at other provinces.  It will take you less than a year to get the PR on a provincial nominee program and after that you can move to SK or MB if you want.
