Immigration and traveling...?

How is it to travel domestic in the USA if I am a immigrant?

I have a greencard,but it's expired.

I still have paperwork pending/in process!

Would I be ok if I wanted to travel within the USA,as long as I bring my paperwork, expired greencard, passport and ID?

Or would I get any complications?

THANKS!

  1. You are required by law to have a valid green card in your possession. You do not have to travel to get into trouble.

  2. No,, all your paperwork must be recent and carried with you.

  3. The US does not have internal closed borders so you are free to travel anywhere.

If you want to leave the US you will have a problem.
