Immigration for Spouse!! HELP PLZ!!?

Question

My friend would like to sponsor her spouse from Pakistan to Canada.

What would be the paperwork that are needed?

As well, would she need to show that she's working, I mean, to show that she can support her spouse, etc?

Serious responses plz, this is urgent.

and Yes, She has to proof  that She has the financial mans to support her husband, They don't want anybody to come and milk the system.

I forgot to add,  You can apply yourself to get  him papers (I mean your friend) and only pay the fees, around 1,500 dlls. or You can get a lawyer to do it for you; My husband is Canadian, I'm not, last time I asked,  the lawyer fees are between 3,500 to 5,000 + Immigration fees. Hiring a Lawyer to submit the application doesn't guarantee He is gonna get the Visa.
