i am mexican american and if my father (who is now an american citizen) had not come to this country i wouldn't be here... Howver i do believe that ppl should go about things legally, BUT i also know that i have family that has tried to do things legally which has cost them alot of money just to get an appt to see if they even apply to get there visa but have been turned down without a reason... and though i don't condone it i certainly see where ppl would give up and come here illegally.... any thoughts- and plz i'm not trying to offend anyone these is just my opinions

oh and i would also like to say that when my father moved us to mexico there where no interpreters for drs, schools, no one had to know english, i feel that if its YOUR choice to come to america then you need to learn the language- i don't care that you speak spanish (or any other language) in your home or with your friends but in other aspects i think english should be expected... agree or disagree

  1. It all started with stupid christians who wrote a book to say that god gave them and only them the right to be in that land and this has continued until modern times.

If you don't respect and follow the law, you don't respect and follow the laws of the United States.  We don't need that.  Illegal aliens are very, very expensive, and they have a profoundly disruptive effect on this country.  You should not be torn unless you prefer to live in Mexico.

  3. i doubt that they were turned down without a reason--doesn't make sense---i agree with you about language--illegal is just what it means "illegal"

  4. I have no problems with the immigrants who enter the US and take the necessary steps to become a citizen.  They can earn a living and live here in peace.  The illegal ones who don't pay taxes, steal american jobs, and put nothing back into their community are the ones that need to go.  I agree that they should learn english.  That is the spoken language of this country.  As for how much it costs, that is not the problem of the American economy.  They should have though about that before they came here in the first place.  I want to congratulate your dad on his accomplishment.  If more immigrants were like him, we wouldn't be having this problem,

  5. Millions of people want to live in the US every year. It Takes Time to process all these people. What is the hurry? You can't wait 5 years more and come here legally? You can't get an education so your not a drain on the taxpayers? You can't learn english? Instead of coming over illegally take the time to prepare yourself to have a GOOD life here that you can pay for, not me.
