  1. You can use an immigration attorney from any state. It doesn't have to be Texas. I live in FL and I could recommend one.

  2. I am originally from Bulgaria but I live in Texas now. I prepared my citizenship application by consulting the attorneys from Ross & Mathews in Ft. Worth. The attorney consultations and documents review are provided through the family legal plan at www.bestimmigrationlawyers.com for residents of Texas. You can sign up for the plan on the website and it costs only $16 per month to get unlimited attorney consultations and review of documents. If you are satisfied with the attorneys' service, you can hire them to represent you at a 25% discount from their attorney rate. I, myself, did not hire them as the phone consultations were absolutely sufficient to prepare all the paperwork. That's why I think that this plan provides a great value as you can receive professional advice without worrying about the cost and, eventually, decide for yourself if hiring a lawyer is really needed. Good luck

  3. Tidwell, Swaim and Associates is a good lawfirm in Dallas.  They take your type of cases and they will be really honest on whether your case can be worked out or not.  Good Luck!

  4. Are you here illegally? Maybe that is the reason..
