Immigration question ?

a woman was sponsored on a K1 visa by a guy in the bay area. she chose to use that visa, but to meet and visit another man (my friend). my friend was under the impression that she had a return ticket home, which she cancelled on her own after sending him the itinerary. she was hoping that he would let her stay with him... NOT! he at least bought her a ticket to the bay area (her port of entry). She now has no way home. Visa is good till october. other than her original fiance (who sponsored her), how is she to get home? Is her fiance responsible? My friend and I do not feel it is his responsibility to buy her a ticket. She got herself here, she should be able to get herself back.

WOW.  Sounds like she got exactly what she deserved, and then some.  Good riddance.

Not to worry, the US government will deport her so she will have a ride home. She wont ever qualify for a k1 again since they will question the guy she was supposed to be going to.

Tell her to go to her embassey..I see no other way. Or go to ur local immigration office....

To answer below...Deportation doesnt work like that and it can take MANY months to get deported..

she needs to go to her embassey wherever it is which is probably DC..Thats the only way..They will help her get back home..
