  1. The average NZer loves South Africans ;-) ...as long as they can play rugby, make biltong, drink Macs Gold, wear the All BLacks jersey with their Boks scarf, it's all good....lol.

Seriously, South Africans are great people.....well at least the ones I've met.

  2. i wouldn't say it's been a sudden influx, the south african population in nz has steadily been on the increase for many years.i must admit there are quite a few of them in nz now, thats why theres so many african food stores popping up all over the place.but they are very sociable and eager to mingle and join in and learn the nz way which is great, at least there willing unlike some other nationalitys immigrating

  3. Hi ferrari man. Nice to see you here. I,ve been in NZ for the past three years and I will tell you that there are heaps of us here. However, the Kiwis are very friendly and accommodating of us. It's a beautiful country, lovely people and I,ve been very happy. I support the All Blacks because they support the Springboks when they can. Most SA's eventually move over to Aussie because of the warmer weather as NZ is much colder and wetter. Thinking of moving?

  4. Sudden influx? My high school in the early 90s was 15% South African - 15 years ago. I wouldn't say that was too sudden.
