  1. I checked out a few web sites and couldn't find any specific requirements regarding the number of pets you're allowed to bring to the U.S.  But you should check out immihelp.com -- that web site seems to have a lot of information, including phone numbers to call to get information that's not on their web site.  Here's some information I found on another web site:

    Things You’ll Need:

    Veterinarian's certificate

    Passport (depending on destination)

Step1 -- Start to follow immigration procedures by calling the embassy of the country to which you are immigrating and ask to be sent a copy of that country's immigration procedures for pets. Different countries have different pet immigration requirements. You will probably be sent documents that must be filled out and signed by a veterinarian.

Step2 -- Take your pet to the veterinarian no more than 30 days before you leave the country and get all of the vaccinations your new country requires for your pet. Make sure the veterinarian certifies the vaccination documents with a signature and date.

Step3 -- Have the veterinarian run any health tests your new country requires. The veterinarian must record and certify the test results on the immigration documents.

Step4 -- Get your pet microchipped. Most countries require this for animals entering from foreign countries. Record your pet's chip number and keep it with your important travel documents.

Step5 -- Find out from the embassy of your new country whether your pet needs a passport. Some nations require this, but not all. However, every nation in the European Union requires a pet passport for foreign pets. The documentation the embassy will send you will have the passport in it, and your veterinarian will fill it out and make it official.
