An Ig(made by a plasma cell) can alone destroy an antigen,without the help of other type of cells(CTL or macrophag)?

  1. No, immunoglobulins (Ig) do not destroy antigens.

    Ig or antibodies opsonize ( "condiment") a certain pathogen or neutralize a specific toxin and prepare it to be phagocytosed (ingested) by monocytes (dendritic cells or macrophages).
