Imodium, does it wear off?

I'm going out tonight but I'm a bit worried about half-diarrhea I've been having.

It's nothing bad or for a reason (I think I ate too much dairy) I'm just a bit phobic about getting diarrhea whilst out.

Anyway, so I plan to take Imodium before I go.

I'm leaving my house at 6pm tonight, and not coming home til the morning.

If I take the Imodium-

1. What time should I take it?

And

2. When will the Imodium stop working? Will I get really bad diarrhea when it wears off? If yes, then what time- how long after I take it?

(Please answer seriously I really am worried and I've never taken Imodium before)

You take it according to how well it works - you can have several capsules in a day according to the box - based on how it is going.

why don't you take some before you go out and see how it is working.
