Imovie hd on macs question?

is there a way to shorten a clip you already recorded without re-recording it, speeding it up, or anything. basically i'm asking is there a way to like crop the clip i guess? hah well if anyone knows please help me! :)

  1. If your clip is in the clips bin, hold down the option key while dragging it into the timeline below. This will make a "copy" of the clip while keeping the original one in the bin. Once it's in the timeline, you can move the playhead to where you want to make a "cut" or "edit". Once there, hold down the Apple (cmd) key and the "T" key at the same time. This will cut the clip into two separate clips. Thus shortening or "cropping" the clip.
