Quite a powerful tool, the media. All forms of media, not just news.

There is a radio advertisement going on right now in my area in which people are being told that the recession is here right now, and they want to "help" you get your credit cards paid down, and says the recession will bring all sorts of problems with credit.

A lot of people have been convinced just by the news reports that we are in a recession. Just look at some of the proof here in YA.

We arent having a recession. We have not had 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth, but the media is still trying to convince people there is one.
