Impact sorb in shoes good for skateboarding?

I have vans lasek impact sorb shoes and I want to know if its good for skateboarding and it doesn't matter. I do street skateboarding and I ride 7.5-.7.75 boards so does it affect the way you skate? I never skated with impact sorb shoes before

no it doesn't make a difference i tried it and to me it felt the same

its just to cushion your feet when you bail off something high.  try landing on your heels in flat shoes.  it sucks
