  1. Once there is an impaction in the bowels, only an e***a will be helpful.  (The other suggestions for things to be taken orally will only help to prevent the problem from recurring.)

  2. Water, fruits, vegetables, slippery elm, marshmallow root, apple pectin, bentonite clay.

  3. There is an herb called slippery elm that would probably help, but at this point, she needs to really get stuff moving..tons of water, and real fiber, maybe some psillium would work well..Good luck

  4. this website has just about everything you need to know about constipation. http://www.colon-cleanse-constipation.co...

  5. Nordic Naturals Fish Oil the best.  They can be found on line.

Drink a good processed water like Dasani bottled water.

Flax oil also and a mild solution of salt  and warm water enama.  Good luck

  6. Drink two large glasses of water.

  7. Malt Barley Soup extract-it's behind the pharmacy counter though no RX needed.  It's like Caro Syrup.  My son had to drink it as a baby mixed into a bottle.  He only used 1/4 tsp.  It's quite effective.

  8. FIBER, 25-35g per day also drink lots of water!

  9. This is something that she needs to see her doctor about.  My mom had impacted bowels and ended up with a perforated colon and emergency surgery.  She almost died.

She needs to be on a diet prescribed by her doctor.  Please don't try to do this on your own it could be dangerous.

I appreciate you're wanting to help her but unless you're medically trained it's just not a good idea.

  10. Many drugs cause this.  She needs to drink more water and the clear fiber powder you can get at the drug store.  Follow the label--do NOT go over the recommended dosage.  It would be good if you or someone could give her an e***a--impacted bowels can be very painful and can lead to other problems.  Take her to ER if she can't or doesn't eat!
