Impacted earwax on a 3 year old...how do I remove it?

My three year old son has an impacted earwax. He doesn't want me to clean his ears for months now and I think this is the cause of it. I can remove the earwax by hand but the problem is he is not cooperating. I'm worried now cause I know it can cause him an infection. Please advice what shall I do...

You dont... you go to the dr and let them do it because you can hurt him in about 3 seconds if you move it the wrong way.
