  1. Positive - It woke people up so they realized that terrorist attacks can happen in the US.  It isn't just something that happens in third world countries.

Negative- The attack on US soil has created an atmosphere of fear.  The result has been a loss of some freedoms.  The most obvious is all of the new security and regulations at airports.

Negative - The airline industry has still not recovered from the lack of travel after 9/11 and may never fully recover.

  2. A demand for demolition of airports to stop Global Warming and possible attacks should be the  result. The impact is neligable as people did not change their habits and no amount of deaths will .

Also again  deaths did not have to occur there were alternatives such as an arrangement by citizens to remove airports as a danger. No one has done that yet. The odd thing is Presidents have said things to terrorists we do not negotiate with terrorists. What I wonder is why when planes are hijacked there is an oil crises  and terrorism was as much about this as other things did The Gov not stop oil use .

  3. The terrorists' stated goal was to collapse the economies among all these nations conducting global transactions in those towers.  Worked pretty well here in America.  Impact since it happened and will continue in just the way it began, worsening.  Positive effects?  You can't be serious.  In the horror and tragedy we realized how little we knew about radical religious extremism, whichever religion, whichever country, and reminded how much destruction has taken place in its name for centuries.  To see current impact, all you have to do is read the news every day, the domino effect.
