Impartial commentary!?

Brian Moore was an ok rugby player.

But listening to him during matches is grim.Think his fellow presenters find it all a bit embarassing!

No harm in a bit of patriotism,but it should not totally dominate your perspective!

I know the Scots, Welsh and Irish don't like him, but really how touchy can you guys be?

I thought Stuart Barnes was a much bigger embarrassment to us English, but he didn't get half the complaints Moore does.

His comments are totally balanced, he genuinely likes Welsh, Irish and Scottish rugby. He does criticise English performance and that must get up peoples noses. But he is right, if he says the last player should have stayed wider, then he should. He's not saying no-one can score against England unless England make a mistake. That's paranoid listeners. But England ARE making a lot of mistakes.

He respects Rugby and Rugby players, but is commenting on England primarily whilst Butler can gleefully have a go at us. That's the style, I don't particularly like it, but can't see room for nationalist complaint. If you would prefer local commentary for those areas outside England fine.

I would consider yourselves lucky, the amount of cr*p the English put up with in commentary is far, far greater than anything you guys experience.

If you don't believe me, go listen to Murray Mexted in NZ or Simon Poidevin in OZ.

I don't like Moore as commentator, but it is immature and paranoid to call him nationalist. Especially considering his predecessor was Barnes. If you were complaining about Barnes, I'd be with you. Moore is far more balanced.

he's normally commentating with eddie butler though on england matches so u get brian supporting england & eddie (like any red-blooded welshman) supporting whoever they're playing..i find them a really funny partnership..especially when it's a wales v england match

Yeah I noticed that as well. How about his comments when that small tussle broke out on the sideline?

"That's terrible, where is everyone, they should all join in"

Eddie Butlers anti English sentiments always wind me up. Moore is not as bad as him!

I do so hate this guy commentating!

the sooner this biased, non interesting (i get the players names wrong on a regular basis) guy goes go, the better!
