Impel likely to prevail in Royal Windsor Racing Club Classified Stakes
Impel is tipped to win the Royal Windsor Racing Club Classified Stakes at Windsor in England on Monday, April 16, 2012. The triumphant horse will be given a cash prize of £2,264.
The going will be good in the 6 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 14:30 GMT, and following seven runners will be seen in action: Impel, Pettochside, Little China, Serene Oasis, Forest Edge, Iced Opal and Charlotte Rosina.
Impel has been awarded with the best odds, as the bookies believe that he will be able to bring up his maiden victory in horseracing today, but the punters might be reluctant over placing bets in his favour, as he lacks the experience to match some
of his rivals.
The three-year-old colt has participated in four events until now, winning none of them. He made his debut last year and failed to make an impression in his first ever outing. He could only manage a seventh place finish, but started improving in his
next appearances.
Following his debut race, Impel made a strong comeback and finished in a career-best third place. He looks in very good shape at the moment and it will be difficult for his rivals to stop him from winning.
The Richard Hannon’s trainee has shown very good form in his most recent outing, as he finished fourth overall. He was not the favourite to win that event, but still gave a tough time to the other participants.
Impel will be partnered by Ryan Moore, who is a decent runner and has performed brilliantly at this level. He has an impressive strike rate and the bettors will be encouraged to place maximum number of bets over his horse in the race.
Other than the race favourite, Pettochside might also manage to make an impression in the race, as he is a quality runner. He has just entered a couple of races in his career until now, winning one of them. He seemed to be a touch rusty in his first
ever outing, but made a strong comeback next time around.
The three-year-old gelding is carrying good momentum at the moment and will certainly attract plenty of bets today.
It will be hard for others to match the speed and skills of Pettochside and Impel at Windsor today.
