I usually chart my temps, but this month I stopped. I happened to take my temp and it has been in the upper 80's for the past couple days. I have been having some symptoms such as Sore b***s, Small Cramping, and a thick whiteish discharge.

This morning i woke up to a temp drop down to 97.5.My cramps subsided and the discharge and soreness is still here. Im not sure how many DPO i am, but im wondering if its an implantation dip or period coming. Oh yea, 2 HPT'S have been negative.

  1. How many days until your period? If it is under 5 I would say the HPTs are right, if it is more than that then you will have to wait it out.

  2. problem is if your temp dropped, you're not pregnant. look at your chart and if you were to be pregnant, you would notice a steady elevation, with no drops (assuming you're taking your temps right -- at a constant time daily and right as you wake up, before leaving bed). you didn't say if you missed a period yet, so don't waste money on hpt's until then -- even the ones that say "test 5 days sooner" only have a 50% chance of giving you accurate results before your missed period, and in fact it could take your body up to two WEEKS from a missed period to produce enough hcg to get a positive result. so all in all, be patient and wait -- trust me! as for the symptoms, they are very common with upcoming periods, so don't go based on just that.

the description of your scenario reminds me of myself, i was the same way before i got pregnant (i'm 5 weeks now). every month i was stressin' it, my fiance and i wanted a baby SO bad, so i was doing all i could to make sure it would happen -- or so i thought. i was charting, the whole 9 yards. and every month i was POSITIVE that this was "the month" for us, and of course 6 months and 8-10 negative tests later, i said to myself that i would just go with the flow. plus, they say when you enjoy s*x and not worry about it, it's more likely to happen. so i finally did, stopped charting and viola! ...... two months later and i'm 5 weeks preggo. my advice is to just let things happen naturally and unless you've been unsuccessful for over a year or two now, don't chart don't do anything, just enjoy your s*x life and it WILL happen, assuming you're both healthy and all is in your favor =) ..... if you try for over a year or so, see a fertility doctor. until then, i wish you the best of luck! ♥
