Impending labor or just wishful thinking?

I am 36 weeks and a couple of days. I have had crazy contractions since last week Friday (about every 15 minutes) but not painful. I didn't have a lot of BH contractions before so that was noticeable. They don't go away when I walk, rather, they get stronger.

Yesterday I started experiencing some pain with some of the contractions at the top of my uterus. Not with every one, just some. I also have had a low back pain that comes and goes.

I have been nesting like crazy the last two days (cleaning out the fridge at one in the morning, painting late at night etc.)

My discharge has increased and is very slimy with some mucous bits in it (sorry if TMI!). My cervix isn't dilated but has begun to soften.

What do you ladies think? Is it coming? I'm READY!!

It sounds like you are really close. If this is your first child, I would probably recommend going to the hospital. Honestly, I would go tonight, even if your water doesn't break. I wish you luck!!  It will really hurt, but you can get through it!
