Imperial Beauty to bash for victory in Jackpot
Imperial Beauty will show a beautiful run at Yarmouth racecourse in an effort to clinch top spot in the 5th Leg Pick 6 Jackpot race that is going to be held today, May 16. The Grade A1 contest over a distance of 462 metres will commence at 19:37 (GMT).
Pursuing the ace title, the I. Mills-trained black dog will compete against four worthy rivals such as Jackdaw Summer, Risky Blue, Riverside Whisky and Mullpark Marlis. The prize purse contains £94.
The dashing dog bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs in the first half of April 2012. He moved on to finish first elegantly in his last outing on April 28.
Prior to these fabulous feats, the three-year-old novice runner had gained two runner-up ranks in a row during February followed by a classic victory on March 3.
Currently, the brilliant son of Collision out of Glencoe Lizzie is awash with confidence and winning momentum that auger well for his today’s going.
If Imperial Beauty manages to capitalise well on his form, his chances to thrive will be as high as 95 percent.
However, Riverside Whisky can impede Imperial Beauty as the J. A. White-trained black dog boosted up his morale by delivering some iconic performances during the last couple of months.
After winning a big race on March 26, the veteran hound achieved two back-to-back triumphs in April. The talented son of Westmead Hawk out of Riverside Trixie stepped ahead to finish first in his last start on May 9.
Mullpark Marlis is also likely to have great time in the race. The J. Green-trained blue b***h excellently won two races in April 2012, establishing herself well in the market. Though her recent record is not tantamount to that of Imperial Beauty and Riverside Whisky but the brilliant b***h has a lot of potential to cause any big upset.
In this situation, there will be a fierce battle today. Imperial Beauty will have to face some gruelling challenges in his way towards the finish line. The event will be interesting and thrilling enough. Let us enjoy the fantastic action. Good luck to all the five hounds.
