How many Imperial Families are left in the world?

technically, only one, the Imperial Family of Japan, but then again they are still only Constitutional rulers, but there are dozens of titular families who still use imperial titles, like the ones in Austria and Nepolean(sp)'s great times somthing grand nephew is the head of the imperial house of france
