Imperial Magesty Cruises?

Someone called my friend and said that she had won a three night cruise on the Imperial Magesty Cruise Line. Is this legit? Has anyone been on this particler cruise? How is it? Where doed the cruise go? Would you go again?

Is it legit?  Probably not.  My guess is your friend spent (or will spend) more to "win" this than if you just went to Ft Lauderdale and bought a ticket.  It probably also involves spending hours being pounded by time-share salesmen.  

On the other hand, the cruise itself is legit, the Imperial Majesty line runs folks out to the Bahamas to gamble and get drunk and all that good stuff.  I have been and would NOT go again, but only because a 3 or 4 day cruise on one of the mainstream cruise lines is cheap and much better.

Do NOT go on this cruise. The ship is filthy, smelly and the linens are badly stained. I have read here where people went on the ship, saw the conditions and turned around and got off. They have a F rating. Always remember, you don't win a contest unless you actually entered the contest. Going on this ship would be a very bad experience.
