Imperial Majesty "Free cruise for two enclosed"...?

I have seen plenty of scams and junk mail trying so hard to get you to buy into their scams, and end up with hidden fees or charges or tons of junk mail, or have to sign up for junk you dont need..

But I got this package from Imperial Majesty cruise lines, and it does not appear to be scam.

I read over everything carefully, including the fine print.

The way it is explained in the package is that I received the voucher because of my "responsible financial history", which makes since because my credit score just went up along with my spending limit. And it explains the purpose of giving out free trips is to familiarize future spenders with their services.

The only "strings attached", is that you have to pay a port fee of $59 per person ($118) upon boarding of the cruise ship.

The vouchers are also sponsored by a big company I do recognize, Ramada Inn.

I mean, ive seen a lot of cute scams and fancy jargon, but this looks pretty legit. What do you think?

  1. I would run......The Florida BBB has given them a F rating  ( I know this becasue my friend booked a trip thru them and then seen something on tv about the cruise) it took him almost 3 months to get his money back. They state they are part of Ramada, but not the Ramada we all know. The ship is small, very small. Go to cruisecritic.com and read the reviews that have been put on the board. My mother told me if it looks to good to be true it probably is

  2. Stay away from it.

There are plenty of complaints at RipOffReport.com:

Fyi, "Ramada Plaza Resorts" is a different "Ramada" from the hotel chain.

  3. I sure hope that you read from the  web sites that PJ posted and get the true story.  Its a shame that Carnival Cruise line would continue to deal with this company that is in the business to scam people.
