Does anyone know about the law of impersonation a police officer in South-Africa .

And  can a police officer arrest you without a case file and a warant .Cause a police officer called my mom and said that he did not need a warant to arrest my nephew that lives with us and we called the police station and he does not exist .Also the officer refused to give us more details .We are not sure what to do but the person that called us knew my moms name and number
