to have a period on it, then for it just to stop?

i bled continually. was prescribed tranexamic acid for 4 days to curb the bleeding - it never.

i was then given a 3mos supply of the pill - Microgynon 30 - to regulate the bleeding, which is did. i had 5 normal monthly "periods", now i have nothing?

  1. I never took to that pill, my body just didn't play ball whilst using Micrigynon 30, i also fell pregnant on it too. Try talking to your doctor about the mini pill-that seemed to work better than eny other. Hope i've helped x

  2. Hey, I had serious problems on Iplanon. I had a constant period for about 8 months and then they put me on the pill to regulate it which didn't work so I had it removed. It also made me put on a stone and grow weird hair. I'd say that your periods have stopped as being on the pill sorted your problem out, from research I did on it when I was having problems it is normal not to have periods on it. I would advise going to the doctor if you're at all worried though

  3. I also had some problems on implanon, I bled almost contantly (although very light) for nearly a year - was given a shot of depo-provera to regulate it but it never worked. Finally got it removed then went on the pill. However, I did research into implanon loads over that time and every woman reacts differently - it's considered completely normal to bleed constantly, not at all, sporadically, whatever way. My sister has been using it for years and only has a very occasional bleed.

    good luck!

  4. My experience on the Implanon was a litle different to yours. My periods stopped for about 18months when i went on the implant. Then Towards the end of me having the implant taken out i was bleeding constantly on for 9 days, 2 day break then on for another 4 days....etc.

Every woman do react in different ways and apart from me putting on about 10lb and the last few months of me bleeding i was really pleased with it. The best thing also is when you have the implant removed your fertility returns to normal almost instantly!!

Try and stick at it if ya can!! :o)

  5. I fell pregnant on that pill too!

Maybe your period has stopped just because of the sheer amount of hormones currently in your body? I'd go and ask your doctor to be sure.

  6. My best friend is on this she put on 2 stone is really moody almost all of the time and her periods completely stoppped, she gets monthly menstrual symtoms but never bleeds sometimes a little pink spotting. If i were you I would have the implant removed it obviously does'nt suit you if they had to put you on the pill as well. Go see your doctor or a new doctor. good luck

  7. Just about anything is possible on Implanon, for me it made my periods worse but it can make peoples stop all together.

But.. why is this question in pregnancy??

  8. I have heard that before so I know it can do that ...
