We have been ttc for 2 months now.

I have extremely irregular periods ranging from 28- 40 days, most months its around 30 days or so...

last month it was a 40 day cycle, in my ovulation calender i set it to 28 days, which says i would have ovulated around 7 days ago and just yesterday i wiped and have a light pinky colour ..and a spot of red.. and today its a brownish coulor...but not much at all just when i wipe theres a tinge of the colour..

i have never had bleeding in between periods either.

what are the chances of this being implantation bleeding?

  1. i have irregular period too, ranging from 30-40 days. been ttc for a total of 14 months now (had a miscarriage last march). i've had slight bleeding like yours and i still get a negative when i test. i'm not trying to burts your bubble, but testing after two weeks (3 weeks for me because of my irregularity) is the best way to know if you are pregnant.

  2. Im in the same situation you are in. I ovulated about a week ago and today I noticed light pink spotting. I hope it is implantation bleeding. Hopefully what you experienced is implantation bleeding also. Good luck and tons of baby dust!

  3. With irregular periods the most important thing to do is to know exactly if and when you ovulate. Looking for ovulation symptoms and signs. Calculations won't help as you really can't go by cycle length alone.

Making sure that you ovulate and exactly when you ovulate likely improves your chances getting pregnant.

There are several ways to find out if and when you ovulate:

Calculation: Ovulation and Fertility Charting and Calculator

    Temperature charting

    Cervical mucus

    Mittelschmerz

    OPK Ovulation Predictor Kit
