Implantation Bleeding question??

Is it possible to have implantation bleeding on the day your period would be due? My period was due tuesday and I started spotting Tuesday night. It was light pink and brown and only a tiny bit of normal blood. This is really uncommon for me as my periods are always heavy and 9 times out of 10 I pass small clots... and i havent passed any this time. It has lasted from Tuesday night to Friday night and now its gone.

could this be first signs of an early pregnancy?

  1. usually implantation occurs 8 - 10 days after conception, which may be the time of your expected period depending on the number of days in your cycle.  Average of 28 day cycle would mean that ovulation would be about 14 days after the first day of your period which would put implantation at about day 22 to 24 of your cycle (a little before the expected period).  If thats the case, then the fact that you had a lighter than normal period could still mean you're pregnant because i have read that many women may still get a period even though they are pregnant.  The period will just be lighter or abnormal.

  2. It could be I had light pink spotting on Aug 25 and on Aug 26 it was brown spotting it was light spotting on both days and my period was due on Aug 27 and there's no sign of it and I took an hpt on the 28 and it was negative maybe to early so I am pretty much in the same boat your in but I'm going to retest in a week if I still haven't come on.

  3. It's very possible, yes.
