Implantation bleeding OR miscarriage? what happened?

I just posted a question that i got my period today too early and i was sure i had conceived around 17th-20th of this month. I was pregnant an year ago but had an abortion though. How can I know if this bleeding is an implantation bleeding or miscarriage? I still have a bit of a cramp and blood only when a pee. please help!

Okay that sounds like implantation bleeding if you only see it when you wipe. yes it can come earlier than your expected period or around the time. take a hpt to conform it....good luck!

edit* yea that sounds like it...but wait until your when your period was due to take a test as it will be more accurate then. if you test now, you may get an false negative [if you are pregnant]..

I would suggest taking a HPT to confirm pregnancy, if it does come back negative, then you should retest in a few days just to be sure. If you still are wondering then you could always go to your doctor and request a blood pregnancy test which is much more sensitive to the hormone Hcg, the hormone released into your body by a growing pregnancy. Blood pregnancy test will show a positive result for pregnancy WAYYYYY sooner. Best of luck to you!

If it was lite and pink or brown and lasted between 1 and 3 days it is implantation.. 3 days or longer and RED is either a period or miscarriage.. Miscarriage is painful and there will be heavy bleeding and expelling of large clots which is the fetus

You can take and HPT to find out as there will still be HCG in your system this will relive your mind as if it is your period or a miscarriag as it will not pick up HCG if it was just your period  or you can go to the ER

if you are bleeding when you pee even if its a little bit I suggest going to the emergency room and having it checked out. It can be a miscarriage and if you are wanting to keep the baby it may be still enough time to save the baby before you actually lose it.

What color is the blood and how much is it?  My implantation bleeding was brownish pink and also only when I wiped after using the bathroom. It was never heavy enough to leak onto my underwear or anything, and it only lasted a day. With a miscarriage you'd likely be having severe cramps with very heavy bleeding.

Just wanted to add that anytime you bleed during pregnancy, it's best to let your doctor know. Just to be sure. Even when I had my implantation bleeding, I let my OBGYN know.
