Implantation bleeding or midcycle?

we had unprotected s*x on the 8thday of her cycle. on day 14 she started spotting then bleeding brown then with white w/ a spot of dark brown only once now its brown and dark brown. but now the dark brown is heavier and its day 16 of her 28 cycle already. isnt it too early for implant. bleeding? cn this heavy bleeding be midcycle bleeding? its near like menstrual but its not that heavy. help!
