Ive gotta start applying for law school within 6 months..about to have my BS and i have a problem. When i apply for schools at the end of fall..i most likely will only have a GPA of 2.9 to maybe 3.2 im looking to get into a school such as University of Miami or Florida State University..which have a 25th percentile of around 3.2-3.4 GPA and 75th percentile of up to 3.64 GPA..my question is..how well would i need to do on an LSAT to have a good chance for acceptance at a school such as these since my GPA is sorta low?? sry so long thanx.

  1. Standardized tests are important, you will need to do well. However, a really high LSAT with a low GPA wont work. Schools are looking for well rounded students. You should check the stats of all the schools you want to apply to and see how your GPA compares to the avg. P.S. Being active in the community is always a plus!

  2. Your LSAT would have to be above their 75th percentile for any consideration.
