  1. the most important thing a child can learn in preschool, is good social skills. They need to learn how to get along with other children, how to negoiate conflicts and make friends. They need to learn to sit in a circle time, share and take turns. That is something they don't teach in elementary school.

  2. im a doctor and seriously its rily importantxcoz if u teach someone to hunt;they hunt later on

  3. Building better foundation for learning in future.

  4. There are lots of websites on the benefits of early childhood/preschool education - just 'google' it!

As a parent myself, I love sending my toddler and preschooler to preschool everyday.  They are learning soooo much. They are highly sociable, very motivated and well educated and they have a deep sense of accomplishment and self-esteem.

Not all preschools are good. Make sure you investigate the center, its curriculum and teachers.  The top 3 things I look for, among may things are: 1) Motivated, nurturing teachers; 2) Stimulated environment, toys, art work, displays, etc; and 3) challenging curriculum that is age-appropriate.
